Agree or disagree: Streaming TV services have ruined TV watching as we know it.

I disagree. If you’re patient, you get to watch an entire season all in one sitting!

God asks us to be patient with him. Good things come to those who wait. And I mean patiently wait! It’s not like drivers who take off fast from a stoplight only to be stopped at the next light and the next light. Hurry up, stop, hurry up, stop.

But our lives are “hurry up and wait” at times. God wants us to be patient and wait for him. Does God love you? Yes! Does it always seem like that? Not always. Does God always keep his promises? Yes!

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

A life of following God may mean denying some of the things that others are doing around you. There might be some commercial breaks that you wish you could fast-forward through. But understand that God has not left you! God doesn’t want you to fail! But when you mess up, he wants you to run to him, not away from him! So stay tuned to him and be patient!
