NEWLYWED

A Christian Guide for Loving Year One

About the Author

Mike Novotny pours his Jesus-based joy into his ministry as a pastor at The CORE (Appleton, Wisconsin) and as the lead speaker for Time of Grace, a global media ministry that points people to Jesus through television, print, and digital resources. He is unafraid to bring grace and truth to the toughest topics of our time and has taken on those topics in many books, podcasts, and videos. Mike has written numerous books, including Taboo: Topics Christians Should Be Talking About but Don’t, 3 Words That Will Change Your Life, and When Life Hurts: How to See Through Suffering. Mike lives with his wife, Kim, and their two daughters, Brooklyn and Maya; runs long distances; and plays soccer with other middle-aged men whose best days are long behind them.

You said the vows . . . now what?

Year one of marriage is amazing—but also full of surprises no one warned you about. Pastor Mike Novotny gets it. In Newlywed, author Mike Novotny gives you the honest stories, practical wisdom, and laugh-out-loud moments every couple wishes they had before the first argument about . . . well, anything. It’s the ultimate resource for newlyweds (and those who love them) looking to create a strong foundation rather than just survive the honeymoon phase.

Time of Grace points people to what matters most: Jesus. We tackle topics Christians need to talk about but often don’t. We use a variety of media (television, YouTube, books, and social media) to encourage people to love everyone God made and everything God wrote in the Bible.
