Christine Wentzel, a native of Milwaukee, lives in Norfolk, Virginia, with her husband, James, and their rescue dogs. After two lost decades as a prodigal, Christine gratefully worships and serves at Resurrection Lutheran in Chesapeake, Virginia. In 2009 she served as writer and coadministrator for an online Christian women’s ministry, A Word for Women. In 2022 she accepted a position to become the social media director for the WELS military ministry, that sees to the spiritual needs of active duty members serving in the armed forces.
